ICY meeting

Next ICY meeting: Tomorrow (thursday) at Ynglingen, 7pm.

Happy new year!

The first meeting this year is today at 7 pm at Ynglingen.

We will, amongst other things, have presentation of 6 countries, some games, tea and snack.

New and old members are very welcome!

Nattcup!

Natt til lørdag arrangerte Bjørgvin krets nattcup i Haukelandshallen! ICY var på plass blant overtrøtte konfirmanter for å vise en ny dimensjon i deres tilværelse.

Nattcupen blei sparka igang med en urettferdig fotballkamp! På Nord-laget spilte dyktige Ludus/SportY-spillere, og på Sør-laget spilte ICY. Spillerne på Sør-laget stilte med diverse handicap; krykker, bind for øynene, vannbøtte på hodet og hender og bein bundet sammen. Kampen er selvfølgelig et bilde på verden i dag, som er alt annet enn rettferdig. Det hele blei et morsomt show med en dypere mening!

Midt på natta var det tid for ICY Challenge i form av en stafett som innebar bl.a. fairtradebananspising og internasjonal quiz. Her er et noen konfirmanter i aksjon:

ICY-meeting 5.nov

Tomorrow we will get a visitor from Amnesty, Tanja Clifford. She will talk about the World Decleration of Human Right, how Amnesty work, and about their campaign on companies responsibilities in the society. 

The meeting starts at 18.45! (15 min. earlier than usual) and she will talk in english!

This is an open meeting, we want as many as possible to learn about human right! Bring a friend!

The ICY-meeting today

Unfortunatly the guy from LO had to cancel his visit due to sickness in his family. But! Erik Magnus Bruvik from PALKOM (The Palestine committee) is coming to our meeting today to talk (in Norwegian) about how the Palestine committee is working with boycott of Israel.

Mari is also going to talk about her trip to Jericho! =)

Mari in Palestine

Movie evening

This evening we will see "You don't mess with the Zohan" at Mari and Monica's place at 19.00. The movie is about an israeli soldier who fled to the US to become a hairstylist.
